Pulp have premiered a new track, recorded with LCD Soundsystem star James Murphy - despite recently claiming there would be no new material. Listen to 'After You' below.
The track was originally recorded as a demo for their 2001 album We Love Life, but returned to the studio in November of this year to finish the track with LCD Soundsystem star, James Murphy. The track was revealed to fans after their 8 December show at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena, with fans able to access the track online after their performance, with a link going live on 25 December.
"We got you a little present but you can't open it til Xmas day, OK?" Said the band at the show. "If you enter this code into a computer anytime after midnight on Xmas Eve you will get a nice surprise - but no peeking before then! That would be naughty."

The new track comes after Jarvis Cocker told Q Magazine that there would be no new Pulp material, despite a string of hugely successful live shows in 2012.
"No, it was a big enough challenge to learn how to play all the old songs and, hopefully, perform them in a convincing way," Cocker told Q magazine when asked about new Pulp music in November, 2012. "It also means you aren't trying to flog anything to anyone – then you have to do interviews and convince people they have to go and but this new record as well! It was kinda nice not to have to do that.
