Nicole Scherzinger might have a chart rival in boyfriend Lewis Hamilto, as she claims the music he has been working on sounds 'amazing'.
According to the former Pussycat Doll, the race car driver is an avid music fan and has been working on tracks in a personal studio.
"He loves music. He's always loved music since whe was young and he plays the guitar so he's been recording some tracks, doing his thing for fun," Scherzinger told Capital FM.
"It sounds amazing.
"I mean, I don't get to hear much of it because they're in the process of it and I want to be respectful and give him his creative space."
News of the driver's desire to record material first surfaced at the tail end of 2011, with a source telling The Sun: "Not many people know Lewis has been making music in his spare time.
"He's really into his R&B and has been cutting lots of songs that fit in with his taste.
"At the moment he's fully focused on F1 so it's unlikely any of the tracks will be made public," the source said.
Last summer it was also reported that Hamilton may be interested in a career in hip-hop once his days as a driver are through.
"Everybody's free to do music or something, a hobby or what they love, so I do nothing but support him. You can't listen to the haters out there," Scherzinger continued.
"I mean if he wants to record some songs and be creative then there's nothing wrong with that. Me getting in a car trying to drive really fast? Now that's scary!"
This week it was reported that Scherzinger has not been asked to reurn to The X Factor as a judge.

Scherzinger had acted as a mentor for both the first and second place finishers in the last competition, and said she had James Arthur picked out as a winner from day one.
But the US star also revealed this week that she plans to return to the UK in the summer, saying she's currently planning a tour.
