Organisers of the 2012 Grammy Awards have issued a stern memo to all performers, warning of exposing too much flesh on stage during the show - and we've rounded up the artists they should, under no circumstances, allow anywhere near the stage.

The memo is from CBS and is thought to be a reference to Janet Jackson's still infamous 'nip slip' at the Super Bowl halftime show, even though it took place in 2004.

The memo, which leaked online this week issues warnings about bums and boobs, saying: "Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic."

"Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples.

"Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible "puffy" bare skin exposure."
