10 Febraury, 2013: Rihanna, Beyonce, Adele, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Florence Welch - it's safe to say that the 2013 Grammy Awards was a reasonably well-attended show.
The annual event took place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, and is one of the biggest events in the US music calendar. The red carpet was packed with the biggest names in the world of music, all doing their thing on the red carpet (posing, smiling, thrusting their barely-concealed breasts in the direction of the camera). You know how these things work.
The big winners of the night included Mumford & Sons and Adele, both flying the flag for the UK.
Adele took home the Grammy for Best Solo Performance for 'Set Fire To The Rain', while Mumford & Sons won the coveted Album of the Year for Babel.
Paul McCartney won Best Traditional Pop Vocal album, beating Michael Buble and Carol King and winning the award for his latest album, Kisses On The Bottom.
Ed Sheeran sadly didn't win his nominated award, but performed a duet of his hit 'A-Team' with Elton John, and there were also performances from Rihanna, Alicia Keys and a tribute to Bob Marley.
