Adam Lambert has posted a short video clip of himself singing Rihanna's 'Stay' and claims 'it was a preview.' Watch the video below.
Lambert's rendition may only be 40 seconds long, but if his Twitter posts are anything to go by, it would seem the singer is rehearsing the song for live performances.
After being asked to explain the post, Lambert told a fan: "it was a preview! It was rehearsal. More to come!"
The American Idol runner-up also claimed to be delighted to have discovered American singer-songwriter, Mikky Ekko via Rihanna's hit collaboration.
Lambert tweeted: "Discovering @mikkyekko thru this RiRi track is f**kin great! His records are gorgeous."
The singer was also full of praise for Rihanna and Mikky Ekko's 2013 Grammy Awards performance of 'Stay'.
Speaking of Rihanna, he wrote: "best she's ever sounded!! Wow. Full of such beautiful and haunting emotion."
Could Adam Lambert be covering 'Stay' for an upcoming live performance?
Lambert has recently parted ways with his management company, 19 Management in a move that was seen as 'good for both sides'.
The star is already in advanced conversations with new management company, Direct Management about a third album.
