Jake Bugg has put his own teenage twang on Oasis classic 'Slide Away' for a Radio 1 Love Lounge performance.
The track was originally written by Noel Gallagher and featured on the Manchester band's debut album Definitely Maybe released in 1994.
The singer has received a lot of recognition from Gallagher who seems to have take the 18-year-old under his wing and even inviting Bugg to tour with High Flying Birds last year.
Although a seemingly obvious cover, Bugg manages to put a his own guitar picking spin on the track and even manages to make it unrecognisable at times.
Nottingham-born Bugg has recently been nominated for a 2013 BRIT Award in the British Breakthrough category and has enjoyed a swift rise to fame since releasing his self-titled, debut album.
We found out recently that there would be no chance of Bugg ever covering a band like One Direction.
Watch Jake Bugg perform 'Slide Away' below:
He told Q, "One Direction? The young girls will grow up and forget about 'em.
"There's only [one direction] they'll be going after that, isn't there? Down.
"I'm interested in which songs, artists, will be remembered in 50 years' time."
