The BRIT Awards have always had a knack for creating memorable moments, with spectacular performances and the cream of the musical crop giving it their all in an effort to out do each other.
Musicians have used the awards ceremonies to announce their retirements, stage their comebacks and silence their critics. Musical legends from Michael Jackson to Whitney Houston have taken the stage at the famous event, and there have been some totally exceptional peformances.
