Band kick off tour with two shows

After becoming the first to win the BRITs' new Global Success award, One Direction are wasting no time and have kicked off their Take Me Home world tour with two shows at London's O2 Arena yesterday.
The boy band played a matinee and an evening show on Saturday night (February 23) and took to Twitter to let everyone know how pleased the were.
"It's happening ! We're here #TMHtour is kicking off," Liam tweeted, while Louise added "Loved it" on his own account.
The bands fans were also unsurprisingly full of praise for the show, with one fan tweeting, "best show everrrrrr" among countless other comments from fans.
One Direction's global dominance continues to grow. As well as winning a BRIT Award the boys recently became number one in a third of the world's countries with their Comic Relief single 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)'.
