NME Award winning band hit Liverpool O2
4 February, 2013: Foals' 2013 tour really hit its stride at its third date last night at Liverpool's O2 Academy.
The band performed amid shocking purple and pink lights, and support was provided by The Invisible 3.
The bands new album, Holy Fire, narrowly missed out on the No.1 spot in the UK albums chart recently when the soundtrack to Les Miserables held on to the top spot.
This weekend it was announced that the new album would be released on vinyl for record store day in April along with a special 7" that will include a Friendly Fires remix of 'My Number'.
There single 'Inhaler' was recently awarded the Best Track prize at the NME Awards, but frontamn Yannis Philippakis clashed with security at The Troxy when he insisted on smoking inside.
