Bonkers Japanese video for French band's new track
Tags: Phoenix
French band Phoenix have premiered video for their new single 'Entertainment' - and very excellent it is too. Check it out below.
The first single from the band's third album Bankrupt!, the Japanese-themed video features geishas, samurais, futuristic Asian music icons, fireworks and neon-lit Toyko scenery. Very un-french indeed. Visually stunning, a brilliantly convoluted set of love story storylines tributes Japanese cinema and adds to the mayhem of the video.
'Entertainment' is the first track to be released from Bankrupt!, which will be released globally on 22 April, 2013. The album follows the band's million-selling 2009 album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix and comes ahead of a string of festival shows throughout 2013.
