21 March, 2013: Is it us, or did the UK just get a little sexier? Ah that would be why - The Weeknd is in the country for a string of live dates, continuing his tour last night at Glasgow's O2 ABC.
Following the success of his Trilogy EP collection, The Weeknd is one of the hottest properties in R&B, putting the sex back into a market that has been diluted and over-exposed by mainstream acts. Tickets for his current tour sold out in minutes after going on sale, and demand was so high, he has announced a return to the UK in November this year.
The mini-tour will start in Birmingham's NIA on November 22, before heading to Manchester's O2 Apollo on November 23 and finishing at the O2 Arena in London on November 26.
The 23-year-old is set to release new single 'Twentyeight' on March 25 and is likely to be performing at some of the biggest 2013 summer festivals.
