4 April, 2013: The race for this week's No.1 album is between Las Vegas band Imagine Dragons and Sheffield rockers, Bring Me The Horizon. Who said the 2013 comeback of the guitar band would take place in the singles' chart, eh?

After a number of EP releases, Imagine Dragons emerged into the mainstream with their single 'Radioactive'. It wasn't a huge commercial hit in the UK, but propelled the band to massive word of mouth success - helped in part by the track's appearance in video game Assasin's Creed 3 and recent Stephanie Meyer movie, The Host.

The Las Vegas four-piece are currently on tour across the UK, hoping their live shows will help nudge their debut album Night Visions ahead of their British rock rivals in this week's sales figures.

The band performed a storming show at Liverpool's O2 Academy on Thursday of this week. Check them out below in all their drum-bashing, ear-splitting glory.
