Michael Buble has revealed that he had started to consider adoption before his wife Luisana Lopilato fell pregnant earlier this year.
The 37-year-old Canadian crooner admitted that he had come to terms with the fact that not every couple manage to conceive naturally and thought he would be trying 'for a year or longer' with Lopilato.
He told OK magazine: "I was so happy [when she got pregnant]. I honestly thought that we'd have to try for a year or longer. I'd even accepted that not every couple can have a baby naturally and maybe we'd adopt, and that would be okay with me too.
"I just wanted to have a family, to be a dad and to try and recreate what I had growing up for a son or daughter. So it was amazing, a really beautiful surprise."

Buble also revealed that the pair are currently enjoying a 'great pregnancy' and he even admits to finding Lopilato more attractive than ever since she's been pregnant.
He added: "She's having a great pregnancy. She doesn't have morning sickness, she's very lucky. I find it very sexy, actually. The more pregnant she gets, the sexier she gets. She loves it too.
"Yesterday was the first day she ever felt him kick. She was really excited about it."
In other Buble related news, the 'Haven't Met You Yet' singer recently confirmed that he has recorded a UFO themed track for Robbie Williams' forthcoming swing album.
Buble told the Sun: "It’s catchy and fun, neo-swing. One of the lyrics is ‘Soda pop, Yoda what?’ Robbie wrote it when looking at UFOs.”
