Sarah Harding has revealed she is gunning for her Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole's old job, saying she is keen to become an X Factor judge.
The blonde singer, who was recently banned from driving after being stopped in Central London for using a mobile behind the wheel, claims her experience on a TV talent show and keen eye for emerging talent would make her an ideal candidate to sit alongside the likes of Louis Walsh and Tulisa.
"It would be good [to be on the show]. I’d consider it, definitely. I would love to be a mentor," she says in an interview with The Daily Mail. "I feel someone has talent and potential I can always see it in them. I’d love to do that."
Harding may be keen to get her feet under the desk and join the TV talent show, but her feelings on the show are in stark contrast to Laura Marling, who claims the show is an 'awful' part of our society.
Could Harding replace Cole on the X Facotr judging panel?
The judging panel for this year's show is yet to be confirmed however, with most sources suggesting Sharon Osbourne will return to the show - and pocket a £5million pay deal in the process.
Former N-Dubz singer Tulisa had been widely reported to have been sacked from the show, but recent reports claim that she has been offered the chance to return - if she tones down her language on Twitter.
