Electric Picnic 2013 have announced the full line-up confirmed for the festival, which takes place 30 August to 1 September.
Fatboy Slim, Bjork and the Arctic Monkeys are the artists who are set to headline the event. My Bloody Valentine, The Knife, Franz Ferdinand, Wu-Tang Clan, Disclosure and David Byrne & St Vincent are all also performing.
Other acts who will play are Noah & the Whale, Warpaint, Eels, The Walkmen, Hurts, and Johnny Marr, as well as Savages, The 1975, CHVRCHES, Palma Violets, Baauer and Deap Valley.
Electric Picnic takes place in Stradbally Estate, Laois, and this year will be the festival's 10th anniversary.
Despite fears that this year's Electric Picnic would not be able to take place due to last year's poor ticket sales, it seems that it will now be going ahead.
Melvin Benn, the Electric Picnic promoter, said, "Ultimately my overriding belief is that the ticket price was too high. In 2007 and 2008, when people thought money was growing on trees and tickets were €230, people didn’t think about it, but times are tough now so I have been really keen about reducing the ticket prices."
He continued, "I came up with a mechanic of trying to reward people for having been there. The cheapest tickets is €80 cheaper than it was last year. That is going to bring people back. It is my belief that the Picnic is just a brilliant event. We wanted to make it happen."
