Ozzy Osbourne and his band Black Sabbath are set to make a guest appearance on hit US show CSI which will air in the UK later this year.
Known for their bloody and bat-biting performances over the years, Black Sabbath get caught up in a series of gruesome murders during the hour-long episode and apparently shocked members of the cast with how easy-going they were on set.
CSI star, Ted Danson told the Daily Star Sunday: “I expected them to want to bite everyone’s head off but they were a real joy to work with – more like bats out of heaven than hell.”
Sabbath frontman and legendary rocker , Ozzy even managed to get himself a major speaking role in the show, along with 63-year-old bassist Geezer Butler.
The band's comeback single 'End Of The Beginning' will also be premiered on the detective drama's season finale which will air in the US on on Wednesday (15 May).

Sabbath reformed last year, playing their first concert since 2005 - but recently revealed the reasons behind using Tommy Clufetos as a drummer instead of original Black Sabbath member Bill Ward. Ward has claimed that the snub was due to contract issues, but the band have now said that Ward simply didn't know what he was doing.
Speaking to Mojo magazine, frontman Osbourne said, "You know them yellow f**king stick-on memo notes? He had them all over his f**king drums. I was like, 'What the f**k's that for, Bill?' He said, 'I can't remember what I'm doing.' I go, 'How are you gonna remember out of those 500,000 bits of paper stuck all over your kit, which one you're looking at, Bill?'
"(He said) 'I'll know.' Ah, okay, great. I'm not gonna give Bill a hatchet job, but at the same time we haven't got the patience to deal with it."
