16 May, 2013: The Ivor Novello Awards take place in London today, and some of the biggest names in music (past and present) turned out to attend the prestigious awards bash. See the red carpet arrivals here.
Noel Gallagher, The Maccabees and Bat For Lashes were among the stars at the event, mixing with pop youngsters such as Katy B and A*M*E and stars of pop past including songwriters Cathy Dennis and Shaznay Lewis - and even former EastEnders star / brief popstar, Michelle Gayle.
'Next To Me' by Emeli Sande, 'Two Fingers' by Jake Bugg and 'Laura' by Bat For Lashes are nominated for Best Song Musically and Lyrically, while 'Fitzpleasure' by Alt-J, 'Ill Manors' by Plan B and 'Pelican' by The Maccabees. A full list of nominations is below.
