Kurt Vile has revealed a brand new video for the single 'KV Crimes'. See the clip below.
Not only that, but the Mayor of his hometown of Philadelphia has officially declared that 28 August will be 'Kurt Vile Day'.
A spokesman for Vile said: "The highest honour possible to bestow upon a citizen, the Liberty Bell Award, is being awarded to Kurt in recognition for 'outstanding professional achievements and civic generosity' and is only available to native Philadelphians."
The official ceremony takes place on 28 August, when Kurt will also play a free solo performance as a finale to the 'City Hall Presents' series, followed by the formal award presentation.
Vile's new video for 'KV Crimes', quite fittingly sees his atop a throne, leading a hometown procession through his hometown as 'King For A Day'.
