Big hair, big arms and big tattoos at Donington

14 June, 2013: Sure, we've had a few city festivals where everyone can get the train home and sleep in their own bed, but festival season doesn't really kick off until we've got fields full of muddy campers out in the middle of the countryside.

This weekend, the festival season begins in full force, with one of the biggest rock events of the year, Download Festival, taking place in Donington. Boasting some of the biggest names in rock and metal across the three-day weekend (including Queens Of The Stone Age, Rammstein, Motorhead, Iron Maiden and more), this is the must-see event for all British rock fans.

 On day one of the festival, Bullet For My Valentine performed an incendiary set with explosions and fireballs blasting from the stage, while Korn moshed like their lives depended on it.
