16 June, 2013: Jared Leto and 30 Seconds To Mars proved they could compete with the big boys of the rock scene this weekend, with a successful slot at Download Festival in Donington, UK.
The band, who boast an enormous (mostly female) audience performed at one of the UK's biggest rock events - alongside the likes of Slipknot, Rammstein, Queens Of The Stone Age and many more.
Leto rocked out like a true pro, even jumping from the stage to sing from the audience during their Sunday slot.
Download Festival was hailed as a huge success by festival organisers, with boss Andy Copping calling the 2013 event 'amazing', after 90,000 rock fans flocked to Donington for the annual event. Tickets for Download 2014 are on sale Friday 21 June, 2013.
