Jay Z has unveiled a trailer for 'Picasso Baby', a six hour art performance of the track from his new Magna Carta Holy Grail album, which will be exclusively shown on the US channel HBO on August 2. Watch the trailer here. 

The trailer for the film provides a glimpse of the rapper engaging with an uncharacteristically small audience in an intimate venue, featuring appearances from actor Alan Cumming, filmmaker Judd Apatow and performance artist Marina Abramovic.

Branded as an "unprecedented performance experience", the art film which took place in New York earlier this month, comes as the latest of Jay Z's innovative album promotions. The rapper can be heard discussing how rap is putting "fears and vulnerabilties and insecurities" to music.
