Charlotte Church has hit out at X Factor, after revealing she had been approached to judge the talent show ahead of the 2013 series.
The singer revealed her dislike for the show on Twitter, following suggestions that she would replace Louis Walsh on the show when the judge departs after the 2013 series.
She also states that she was told that as a judge on the show, she would have no creative input with the contestants she would mentor.
She tweeted:

She is reported as later revealing details of judges involvement with the artists, saying: "I had a meeting to ask about the level of involvement in the creative process I could have, and they basically said none unless it was in line with what was required. I wanted to see just how hardline it was. I found my answer and politely declined."
X Factor will be judged this year by Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne. Walsh has confirmed that this will be his last on the show, and there are doubts about its future, as Simon Cowell's ten year contract with ITV comes to an end in 2013.
