The latest weather forecast for this weekend's V Festival predicts mainly wet and cloudy conditions at both the Stafford and Chelmsford sites of the event.
V Festival is set to see headline sets from Beyonce and Kings of Leon, as well as performances from The Script, The Stereophonics, Jessie J, Two Door Cinema Club, Calvin Harris and many more. Also making an appearance according to the Met Office, will be more than a drop or two of rain. See the full weekend weather forecast for each site at V Festival below.
Hylands Park, Chelmsford:
Friday 16 August: Heavy rain in the morning and some light rain in the afternoon before clearing in the evening with temperatures ranging between 16°C and 20°C.
Saturday 17 August: Cloudy in the morning with light rain throughout the afternoon. Temperatures will range between 15°C and 20°C.
Sunday 18 August: Mainly Cloudy with sunny intervals throughout the day, with temperatures ranging between 15°C and 21 °C.
Weston Park, Staffordshire:
Friday 16 August: Heavy rain in the early hours before a day of cloud with sunny intervals. Temperatures will range between 16°C and 21°C.
Saturday 17 August: Light showers throughout the day and early evening with temperatures falling around 16°C and 18°C.
Sunday 18 August: Sunny intervals all day with temperatures between 16°C and 18°C.
Kings of Leon will also be headlining V Festival 2013
V Festival made headlines earlier this week when Beady Eye were forced to pull out, with a member of Swedish House Mafia filling in the slot vacated by Liam Gallagher and co. The band have been forced to cancel their appearance at the festival due to guitarist Gem Archer's recent head injury. Tabloid sources claim he fractured his skull when he fell down stairs at his home. The band have been forced to cancel a number of international appearances as well as their V slot.
