This weekend (17-18 August) some of the biggest acts in mainstream music will be heading to V Festival's sites in Essex and Stafforshire for the two day event. Boasting a line up including Calvin Harris and Kings of Leon, it also has the priviledge of hosting Beyonce's only European festival performance this summer.
However, it's not all about the mainstream acts, there's plenty of performers on the line up who may not be headlining, but are certainly worth checking out.
We've picked out some of the most exciting artists performing next weekend who have either had a recent breakthrough or are just artists that shouldn't be slipping under your radar.
Our list includes Of Monsters & Men, Rudimental, Sam Smith and A*M*E, many of who will be performing on the festival's Future Stage which has been introduced to this year's event in order to provide a platform for some of the best in rising talent. All of these artist have had fantastic year in the UK so will be well worth a watch if you're heading to the festival.
