Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has slammed Jay Z and his security staff after the band's appearance at the rapper's Made In America festival.
QOTSA were among the bands and artists who performed at the Jay Z-curated event, and Homme was less than impressed with the treatment the band received - as well as Jay Z's attempt to use the band for 'marketing' purposes.
"That guy's a kook, you know," said Josh Homme in an interview with CBC Radio 2 in the US. "He has his security frisking the bands on the way in."
The rocker also claims he threatened to cancel the band's performance at the festival when security staff searched his bag, and said of Jay Z: "You shouldn't frisk my guys, you should fuck off."

Homme also added that Jay Z presented the band with a bottle of champagne at the event, but the band rejected the gift when they were asked to pose with the bottle for a photo.
"I was like, 'That's not a gift-- that's a marketing tool.' I destroyed it, 'cause I thought it was rude overall."
Later, during the interview, he is heard 'breaking' more gifts from Jay Z and adding: "People never say anything bad about Jay Z, do they?"
