Glastonbury tickets go on sale this week, and fans are already feeling the pressure of trying to secure tickets to the biggest summer event of 2014.
15,000 coach and festival tickets go on sale tonight (3 October, 2013), with festival fans able to secure entry to Glasto and travel from across the UK. General sale begins on Sunday, 6 October after registration closed on Monday, 30 September 2013. With various methods of purchasing tickets and the registration system in place to help prevent touting, fans have previously struggled to secure tickets, and have spoken on Twitter about their apprehensions ahead of the on-sale.
"I bloody hate trying to organise Glastonbury tickets. Almost as stressful as the ticket sale itself," wrote Davy @The60ftOctopus, while many others echoed his thoughts on the social network.
"Starting to feel nervous about Sunday #Glastonbury" wrote Beth Saunders.
"I'm stressing over Glastonbury tickets already," added Duignan.
"Glastonbury Madness weekend is upon us. Sheesh it's that time again!" said Tony Crouch.
Those wanting to snap up the coach ticket offer seemed most on edge however, with only hours to go ahead of the 6pm release of tickets.
"Really hoping I get Glastonbury tickets tonight urgh, the suspense is killing me :(" wrote Rachel Webster.
"It's Glastonbury ticket day. Buckle your seatbelts," said Craig O'Callaghan.
Main ticket sales will open at 9am on Sunday 6 October, while coach packages will be available from 6pm tonight. For the first time in Glastonbury history, 15,000 coach and ticket deals will be available ahead of general ticket sales.
