Texas based acapella group have put their own twist on Lorde's hit single 'Royals'. Listen below.
This week, 16-year-old Lorde knocked Miley Cyrus off the top spot of the Billboard 100 with her huge single 'Royals' and now the acapella group Pentatonix have recorded an impressive version of the track.
Pentatonix are known for winning season 3 of NBC's The Sing-Off despite only meeting 24 hours before their audition. The group are now working on their full-length album, but have found the time to piece together their own vocal arrangement of 'Royals'.
Watch the video of Pentatonix's version of 'Royals' below:
Lorde is the youngest female solo artist to take the US No.1 spot since Tiffany scored a top hit in 1987 with 'I Think We're Alone Now' and the first female to have her debut single top the charts since Carly Rae Jepsen.
In other Lorde news, Joe Jonas wrote a questionable tweet in the early hours of this morning (October 5th) hitting out against the young songstress. Could we have another Sinead O'Connor vs Miley Cyrus style feud on our hands?
