Paul McCartney today played an impromptu concert in London's Covent Garden, delighting 2,000 fans on their lunch hour. See photos here.
The Beatles icon bought his truck to the tourist hotspot to play four tracks from his just-released album, New, and was mobbed by hundreds of surprised fans. The 71-year-old musician pulled a similar stunt last week in New York's Times Square.
McCartney's 24th studio album, New, was released on Monday and features production from Mark Ronson and Adele collaborator Paul Epworth.
