There are some artists out there who belong in a band. Together, it's great, individually, it just doesn't make sense. Geri Halliwell's return to music on her lonesome with the utterly attrocious 'Half Of Me' makes us pine for the days of Girl Power with the Spice Girls.

For every Beyonce, there's a Billy Corgan or a Johnny Borrell. For every Ryan Adams, there's a Ringo Starr. We've collected together some former band members for whom aspirations of solo stardom wasn't the best of ideas.
