The lead up the release of Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP2 has been a big one, especially with the promise that that it will recapture some of the fire that he has steadily lost over the past decade. Since the album leaked last week, the rapper's camp have posted it online for download leading to the very first reviews emerging online.

There is a lot at stake here with regard to where the rest of Eminem's career may take him. The consensus seems to be a mixed bag so far with some critics singing the albums praises and others lamenting its lack of imagination. Here is what the critics have to say...
