Shaun Ryder, frontman of The Happy Mondays has defended Miley Cyrus' recent antics, claiming that it's nothing more than "rock and roll".
Speaking to the Daily Star, Ryder expressed his support for the 'Wrecking Ball' singer - but adds that a night out with the fallen teen idol would not be something he'd welcome.
"She's a kid, she's young. If she wasn't having sex and doing drugs, she wouldn't be rock and roll," he says.
"That's what it's all about - not that I'd dream of going on a night out with her. I've no idea about clubs. I don't even go in pubs, never mind clubs."
