Timbaland's career began in the nineties, when he produced celebrated tracks for Aaliyah, Destiny's Child and Missy Elliott. After working with a spate of artists including Justin Timberlake, Brandy and Nelly Furtado in the early 2000s, he released solo album Timbaland Presents: Shock Value in 2007, which featured appearances from Elton John, Fall Out Boy and Dr Dre.
Now signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation, Timbaland worked on the bulk of Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience and new tracks for Beyonce and Cher.
