Tickets for McBusted's 2014 tour are on sale now - and with demand high for Busted and McFly's joint tour, they are certain to sell fast. Full details below.
The boybands made the confirmation of their plans to join forces at a London press conference this morning (11 November, 2013), and will hit the road for an arena tour in April and May 2014.
All four members of McFly (Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd) will take part in the tour, while Matt Willis and James Bourne from Busted will also take part. Charlie Simpson has declined to participate, having spoken openly since forming Fightstar and later as a solo artists about how much he disliked the boyband experience.
The two boybands announced their new venture at a press conference on Monday (11 November, 2013) and fan reaction has been huge, with nostaglic pop fans desperate to see the two boybands tour together under their new (albeit ridiculous) name. Now, ticket marketplace Viagogo has reported that they have seen over 250 searches a minute for tickets since the announcement.
"2013 has been a year for reunions and the formation of McBusted may just be the most lucrative one yet," says Viagogo spokesman Steve Roest. "Charlie Simpson may be missing from the original line-up but this early surge in demand for tickets to see the supergroup live shows the boys are as popular as ever."
