Lady Gaga has spoken out once again about her love of marijuana, claiming that smoking the drugs 'helps her forget that she's famous'.
The 'Dope' singer was appearing on Alan Carr's Chatty Man TV show when asked if smoking weed gives her the munchies or encourages her to laugh at objects.
"Yes, all of those things, but you know the thing that I really fell in love with about it is that I completely forget that I'm famous," replied Gaga. "Just totally forget about it, and I just take a puff and I'm me when I was 17 again, in my white go-go boots, looking for a job on the Lower East Side, and there's something quite creative and liberating about it.
"Because that's the one thing for me that's difficult about being famous. "I love being able to sing and perform and dance for all of you, but the stuff in between is maybe not exactly what makes me tick, if that makes any sense? "
Gaga added: "The thing that I really care about is being on a stage, and 'Applause' - my first single from this album [ARTPOP], is about that very thing, I'm sort of an old-fashioned showbusiness kind of a girl."
Maybe she wouldn't need to hide from fame if she wasn't always constantly so desparately seeking it?

The 'Applause' singer has long been an outspoken advocate for cannabis, setting a fine example for her millions of young, impressionable fans.
"I was just numbing, numbing, numbing myself then sleeping it off, then getting on stage, killing it in pain, then getting off and smoking, smoking, smoking, not knowing what pain was," she said earlier this year in an interview with Attitude magazine.
"Fuck, if I know what hurts the most, you know? I would break the habit and it would sneak back in and I would break it and sneak back in."
She added: "I was less drunk and more high on this record. If that makes sense."
