After months of rumour. Arcade Fire have confirmed that they will be performing at Glastonbury Festival 2014.
Taking to the band's official Facebook page, they posted:
Glastonbury have since confirmed that Arcade Fire's headline slot will take place on Friday 27 June, 2013.
Last month, the Reflektor stars were appearing on Jo Whiley's BBC Radio 2 show, when they asked about their touring plans for next summer.
"Get your wellies ready," said frontman Win Butler - before Jo Whiley went on to fuel rumours about Glasto by adding: "The wellies have been bought for a certain UK festival - we know the one that has quite a reputation for rain and welly-wearing...we shall leave it at that."
