Prince's sister, Tyka Nelson: The Purple One's only full-blooded sibling, Tyka Nelson, released her gospel/funk debut EP, Royal Blue, in 1988. She released another album in 1992 before disappearing after failing to emerge from the tiny, flamboyant shadow of her brother. She's since self-released two more records, the most recent being 2011's Hustler.
Thom Yorke's brother, Andy Yorke: The Radiohead frontman's younger sibling Andy enjoyed a brief spot of fame in the 90s with his band the Unbelievable Truth, whose sound were described as "soft and melancholic". Remind you of anyone? Debut album Almost Here enjoyed some success but nonetheless they were dropped by their label, releasing their second and final album Sorrythankyou on an independent imprint. Yorke released a solo album, Simple, in 2008.
Nas' brother, Jabari Jones: Rapper Nas' only brother Jabari has fronted hip hop group Bravehearts since 1998 under the name 'Jungle'. They've released two records, 2003's Bravehearted and 2008's Bravehearted 2. Additionally, Nas and Jabari are sons of legendary jazz musician Olu Dara. Fun fact: Jungle once allegedly slapped Nas' longtime enemy 50 Cent in the studio for not smoking weed.
Mick Jagger's brother, Chris Jagger: The Rolling Stones frontman's younger brother Chris has released a whopping nine albums, although we don't know anybody who owns any of them. He also has the world's most depressing Wikipedia page which states he remains "in the shadow of his older brother" :(
Miley Cyrus' brother, Trace Cyrus: The wrecking ball swinging, hammer-licking very much ex-Disney star singer has an adopted brother with a lot of tattoos. He was also in a fairly terrible electro/pop/punk band called Metro Station, whose single 'Shake It' did quite well. They've since disbanded, luckily for our ears.
Bruno Mars' sisters: The tiny primate-infatuated musician's four sisters - Jaime, Tiara, Tahiti and Presley - have formed a girlband called The Lylas, which stands for Love You Like A Sister (OBVIOUSLY). Their rise to fame (?) is being documented in reality show The Lylas. Lord help us.
Paul McCartney's brother, Mike McGear: Lets face it, if your sibling was in the bloody Beatles, you never stood a chance. However, Paul's younger brother Michael did enjoy some success in the 60s and 70s with his comedy pop group The Scaffolds, even nabbing the Christmas number one in 1968 with 'Lily the Pink' (us neither). Michael - who later changed his last name to McGear - later released two "serious" solo albums.
Rihanna's brother, Rorrey Fenty: The Bajan singer's younger sibling Rorrey released a track in 2011 called 'Feel Me', which sampled dubstep kingpin Rusko's 'Woo Boost', under the name GQ (that could get a bit confusing what with there being a men's publication under the same name and everything but never mind). Rihanna played the supportive sister, tweeting a link to the track to her gazillion followers, but we haven't heard anything from Rorrey since.
