This Sunday, (26 January, 2014) is Australia Day, when Aussies across the world celebrate the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British Ships at Sydney Cove, New South Wales. This is, like most traditions in the developed world, marked with a lot of alcohol and shouting.
Australian has a fine history of music exports, having produced some leading talents in the world of rock, pop and dance music in the past few decades, from iconic stars such as Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue to young musicians including Jagwar Ma and Tame Impala.
To throw our corked hat into the celebrations, we've honoured the coolest Australian music exports of all time. Some you'll know, some you may never heard of and others are tipped as future superstars. Happy Australia Day, you beautiful, sun-kissed lovelies.
