Linkin Park have continued their obsession with futurism, debuting a music video, video game hybrid for new song 'Guilty All the Same'. Check it out below
The free download based around software developed by Microsoft entitled Project Spark, enables users to customise both the video game experience and remix the track. It is available for both XboxOne and for Windows 8, so unfortunately if you own a Mac or a PS3 you're going to be missing out on this one.
For the video release, Linkin Park developed their own video game to fit in with their new track, featuring Rakim. In a similar vein to Linkin Park's other music videos, it is a dark affair, this time taking place in a figurative introspective nightmare. Playing like a mixture between Pandemonium on PS1 and Temple Run, the six minute game sees the protagonist running from his guilt and exploring a world attempting to devour him.

The idea came after Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn visited the E3 games convention last year, according to an interview with Billboard. Speaking to the magazine Shinoda and Hahn said that visiting the event inspired the part of him that always wanted to be a video games developers.
"I saw this cool demo for 'Project Spark,' and it just blew my mind," Hahn and Shinoda said, "For me, the next step was to see if we could showcase our next song as a game instead of a video."
