Bingley Music Live, 49.00: Situated in Yorkshire's Myrtle Park, this 3 day festival is outstanding value considering the current lineup features the likes of Pet Shop Boys and Example, as well as a crop of new talent including Bipolar Sunshine, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and Joel Compass. The rest of the lineup reads like a who's who of the current UK dance world, with Naughty Boy, Gorgon City, MNEK and Jess Glynne all also appearing. (August 29-31)
No Tomorrow, 25.00: See the likes of London Grammar, Clean Bandit, Sam Smith and Duke Dumont (with many more still to be announced) at this one day festival, and get change from 30 quid. What's not to love? It's also set in Nottingham's picturesque Wollaton Park. (June 7)
Parklife, 79.50: We're pretty flabbergasted this super-cool Manchester festival is so cheap, considering the weekend is packed full of a wide range of amazing acts. This year sees performances from Snoop Dogg, Foals, Kendrick Lamar, Disclosure, Warpaint, Pusha T, Annie Mac, Chromeo and many, many more. See you there (if you were lucky enough to snag tickets, that is). We can't imagine it'll be this cheap next year. (June 7-8)
Splendour, 42.00: An affordable one day event for rock and nostalgic acts, Nottingham's Splendour this year sees performances from Tom Odell, Happy Mondays, The Boomtown Rats and Reverend and The Makers, with "many, many more" still to be announced. (July 19)
Run To The Sun, 75.00: This three day Newquay festival is a bit of an odd one - attendees are encouraged to drive down in their VW Campervans and cars. Under new ownership this year, there's potential for a bit of disorganisation but if you can get past that there's a an all-star dance lineup, with appearances from Jaguar Skills, Mistajam, Krafty Kuts, Artful Dodger, Kissy Sellout and more. (May 23-26)
Lounge on the Farm, 55.00: One of the UK's most-loved independent festivals, Canterbury's Lounge on the Farm offers another impressive lineup for 2014 with the likes of Peter Hook and the Light, Fun Lovin' Criminals, DJ Yoda and Dub Pistols all confirmed with more to be announced. (August 2)
Chagstock, 75.00: Forget the dodgy name, for 75 smackers Devon's Chagstock has a rather good, nostalgic lineup. This year's bill includes Lightning Seeds and The Waterboys, with the Mystery Jets, Billy Bragg, and The Boomtown Rats all appearing in previous years.
