Neneh Cherry, Agnes Obel also confirmed
The artists performing on the first episode of the new series of Later With Jools Holland have been revealed, with stars old and new heading to the BBC 1 show this month.
The show returns to screewns on Tuesday, 15 April, and will see Elbow, Neneh Cherry, Clean Bandit, Eagulls, Agnes Obel and Engelbert Humperdinck playing in the iconic studio for Holland and a selection of specially invited guests.
The 2014 series is the 44th to be screened on BBC 2, with more huge names scheduled to perform on the series. Other artists confirmed include Coldplay, Damon Albarn, The Black Keys, Paolo Nutini, Joan As Policewoman, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings and many more. The series marks Coldplay's first scheduled TV appearance in support of their upcoming album Ghost Stories, which is due for release on 10 May.
The seven-part 4season of Later With Jools Holland will begin with the half-hour Later Live show 10pm on Tuesday 15 April before the usual hour-long version on Friday nights at 11.05pm.
The shows will be filmed from Later's new home from Maidstone Studios in Kent.
