April 8 marked the 20 year "anniversary" of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's death.

Posthumously, of course, Cobain has become a music legend; an icon who is still constantly discussed and dissected in the media. Only few knew Cobain, however, as much as his former bandmate Dave Grohl.

Grohl, who of course found further fame post-Nirvana as the founder of Foo Fighters, understandably has chosen not to make a habit of waxing lyrical about the death of Cobain and intimate details of his life.
