2014 has already been a massive year album-wise, with high-profile releases from the likes of Pharrell Williams, SOHN, Sky Ferreira, Wild Beasts, Bombay Bicycle Club and many more.

However, let's not forget about the often-overlooked little brother/sister of albums, the EP. There's already been a fine selection of extended plays in 2014; whether they're an exciting glimpse into a new artist's future, or a transitional piece between a more major act's LPs.
