Reunion may not be on the cards after all

Former Oasis guitarist Bonehead has put a bit of a dampener on the flames of rumour surrounding Oasis' reunion - claiming that the now infamous tweets were just because the band went to the pub together.
Last night (Thursday 24 April), frontman Liam Gallagher teased fans by gradually tweeting each letter of the iconic Britpop heroes' name, before signing off with:

Naturally, the move sent the internet into a frenzy - with many assuming it meant that the Britpop icons had reformed, and with legions of fans begging for them to headline Glastonbury.
However, Bonehead says he spent the night in the pub with Liam, and that neither the tweets nor the reunion were mentioned - which you think they might have been, if it was going to happen, eh?
"What did he tweet, was it regarding fig rolls or something?," Bonhead told NME. "There were no fig rolls involved officer."
When quizzed about what the tweets could have meant, Bonehead replied: "Probably the fact that I texted him going, ‘Meet me in the beer garden’. That probably rattled his cage. Maybe that. I don’t know though, because I meet him every fucking month. Maybe he’s just reminiscing."
In amazing Bonehead style, he then himself took to Twitter to post:

He has been tweeting letters throughout the day. Could this all be a front to throw us off the trail? Or did our Liam just have a few too many? Only time will tell...
