More Christian Silva

Imagine if you will, that Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens and Super Furry Animals are locked in a room with nothing but instruments and a shed load of drugs for company. If that was to happen (Pay attention Big Brother producers) then the resulting sound would probably be a bit like ‘Break From The Past’ by Christian Silva. It starts like Thom Yorke fronting The Cardigans on ‘My Favourite Game’. No honestly it does. After that comes a series of tempo changes, each one madder than the last. Riffs are thrown in at the midway point whilst euphoric vocals wail over the top. As mad as a box of frogs, and all the more amazing for it.
