The Sunshine Underground – ‘Borders’ (City Rockers) Released 05/03/07

Although not the strongest song off of the album, ‘Borders’ is an adequate outing but by no means should you base The Sunshine Underground solely on it. To do so would be a mistake as the album is awash with hectic, fast, punchy rocks songs. They are the soundtrack to a fast living city life; all fast guitar riffs with a glossy overcoat of electronica. ‘Borders’ skews some of the aforementioned electronics for a more regular guitar song with some observant lyrics on communication breakdown. Expect to see big things from them in 2007.
