Watch Adele’s 'Hello' being parodied by The Muppets

It looks like Miss Piggy has finally found her muse

Adele's 'Hello' from her new album 25 is parodied by The Muppets Photo:

Adele's album 25 sold over 300,000 copies in just 24 hours when it was released on Friday - and it looks like Miss Piggy of The Muppets got her hands on a copy too.

The character, who is best known for her roles in Muppets Christmas Carol and Muppets Treasure Island, really gets the time to channel her inner diva as she mimes the best moments from the video to Adele’s huge single ‘Hello’. The short video was aired on Sunday during the American Music Awards to promote the current series of The Muppets.

Miss Piggy is styled like Adele and really embodies the feeling of the track in a comic way as she moves with the song and mimes the words. It makes us realise that, while Adele may have made it into the airwaves of nearly every house with an internet connection since the release of 25, no one has quite bonded with the modern day star as well as Miss Piggy.

Meanwhile, Adele's 25 is about to make history. The highly acclaimed new album is likely surpass Oasis’ record of 695, 761 in its first week and Take That’s of 518,601. It’s a remarkable achievement considering the ability to avoid buying music is higher than ever with file sharing and high speed broadband connections available.

The XL Recordings star also performed on Saturday Night Live this weekend which was hosted by Oscar winning actor Matthew McConaughey.

Miss Piggy, meanwhile, can be seen starring in the muppets here.
