There's a huge amount of great guitar pop coming out of America in 2012 - and Walk The Moon might just be the most impressive yet.

The four-piece from Cincinnati sound like a cross between Foals and Mumford & Sons, mixing the relentless guitar sounds of the first with the soaring, singalong choruses of the latter. They also toss in a liberal dash of synths, adding to their distinct, uplifiting sounds.

After conquering the US, the band have their sights set on success on our shores, and on the strengths of debut UK single 'Tightrope', it's theirs for the taking.
