The 1975 are fast becoming one of 2013's big success stories. For a new band with guitars, the Manchester four-piece have achieved the near impossible - Top 40 hit singles.

Both 'Chocolate' and 'The City' have scored the band huge radio, and commercial hits, they have supported Muse on their stadium tour and this summer will join The Rolling Stones at their huge Hyde Park show.

Not bad for a band who were still gigging with their mates' bands 12 months ago.

The band this week headlined a sold-out show at London's Heaven, marking their success over the past year with a stunning show. Ahead of the performance, we caught up with Matt Healy and George Daniel from the band to discuss their rapid rise to fame, whether they see themselves as sex symbols to their legion of female (and male) fans and how they feel performing with some of the biggest rock bands of all time - and all before they have even released their debut album...
