Queens of the Stone Age fever has gripped the world. Ahead of the release of their new album '...Like Clockwork' next week, we're celebrating the warped wit and wisdom of the 'ginger Elvis' frontman Josh Homme with a compilation of his best bits.
Their new album may be the best rock record of the year so far.
"Like Clockwork sees the Queens racing into the unknown and totally owning it," we said. "Sure, it’s full of the usual fear, fire and fury – but it’s also Queens of the Stone Age more personal and powerful than ever."

But aside from the music, Mr Homme is known for his sheer bad-ass attitude. Over the years he's earned quite a reputation for his onstage outburts, hilarious interview banter and warped imagination.

Earlier today, the band announced an intimate instore gig at Rough Trade.
If you didn't manage to get tickets then they'll also be performing a headline set at the iTunes Festival in September, after they appear at Download Festival in June. For more information visit Gigwise gig tickets.
