Bipolar Sunshine is the solo project of Adio Marchant, who released his debut EP, Aesthetics, back in June. His feel-good, soulful R&B tunes have established him as one of the most intriguing new artists of summer 2013.
We caught up with the rising star to record an acoustic version of 'Trouble', lyricising about wanting something badly, yet knowing it's wrong.
Having recently worked on a track with Rudimental, Bipolar Sunshine could be on the verge of breaking into the mainstream. Marchant reveals he doesn't think becoming mainstream is necessarily bad.
"Mainstream is not a bad thing, alot more people get to hear your music and hold on to it. I wouldn't say I was making music that I was just going to stick in the blogsphere. I'd want it to go further, that's what you want as an artist, as many people as possible to hear your music."
